Job Description

WE ARE HIRING FOR ONE OF OUR CLIENTS WHICH IS AN ESTEEMED ORGANIZATION IN THE SPECIALTY CHEMICALS SECTOR. THEY ARE A MANUFACTURER AND SUPPLIER OF INDUSTRIAL CHEMICALS SUCH AS LUBRICANTS, PAINTS, INKS, COATINGS, POLYMERS, PIGMENTS, AGROCHEMICALS, ETC.

Designation: Plant Operator
Experience: 1-3 years
Qualification: BSc Chemistry ITI AOCP, Diploma in Chemical Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

• To operate plant equipment as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• To monitor & control parameters of chemical process as per SOP
• To handle, transport & process chemicals safely
• Responsible for startup & Shut down operations of Process
• Responsible to follow the instructions by shift supervisor/APM/HOD
• To fill the batch records/Batch sheets
• To fill the operator shift logbook& other records
• To take & give the physical charge handover in the field
• To handle the process equipment safely & as per SOP
• To check & charge the chemicals in the equipment using safety PPEs
• Analyze & troubleshoot problems in process & plant operations
• Develop process improvements to enhance quality, safety & productivity
• To provide samples to the QC lab as per the sampling plan SOP & should be reported in the batch sheets
• Reporting to Shift Supervisor/In charge about the activities done in shift.
