THIS JOB POSTING IS FOR ONE OF OUR CLIENTS, A WELL-ESTABLISHED COMPANY IN THE TEXTILE AND EMBROIDERY INDUSTRY. THEY SUPPLY THEIR PRODUCTS ACROSS INDIA AND EXPORT TO THE MIDDLE EAST, KNOWN FOR THEIR HIGH-QUALITY CRAFTSMANSHIP AND WIDE RANGE OF OFFERINGS.

Designation: Operations Manager
Location: Mahape, Ghansoli
Experience: 10-15 years (with a minimum of 5 years managing factories in the Manufacturing Industry)
Education: Preferably from a Mechanical, Technical, or Electrical Engineering background

Key Responsibilities:

• Build a robust Order-to-Cash cycle process to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
• Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity.
• Focus on improving the current inventory management process.
• Focus on technological implementations of software tools wherever needed to minimize dependency on manpower.
• Key Focus Area – Implementation of best manufacturing practices and proactively working on plant upgrades for attaining customer quality certifications which will help in working with global brands.
• Oversee the preventive maintenance of all factory equipment – Primary and/or ancillary machinery – including production machines, generator, UPS, stabilizers etc.
• Prepare and analyze regular reports related to production, inventory, AMCs, etc.
• Define budgets with the management and HR team and ensure consistent checks and balances on the same.
• Vendor Development.
• Ensure hiring workforce at the skilled and unskilled level (direct and via contractors).
• Ensure proper workforce allocation to optimize labor productivity with a key focus on targeted training to individuals who have the potential to grow.
